  • Written for the 1953 Paramount Picture, The Stars Are Singing. Directed by Norman Taurog, starring Rosemary Clooney, Anna Maria Alberghetti and Lauritz Melchior.
  • Anna Maria Alberghetti plays an illegal Polish alien and Rosemary Clooney the dewey-eyed showbiz aspirant who protects the refugee girl. The two ladies pin their hopes on a TV talent contest. Alberghetti becomes an opera star, while Clooney becomes a pop singer.
  • Metropolitan Opera luminary Lauritz Melchior, dancer Tom Morton, and the comedy dog act team of Bob Williams and Red Dust round out the cast.
