Lyrics
Grab your jacket, man your gun,
All hands on deck!
Battle stations ev’ryone,
All hands on deck!
Blow the whistle, pipe the pipes
All hands on deck!

Yeomen, seamen, all the stripes
All hands on deck!
‘Cause there’s a ship shape girl coming toward us
She’s a doll, she’s a dream, she’s a pip,
And when she gets her high heels on board us
We’ll all be glad to give up the ship!

The bosun drops his comic book, he runs to check
The ensign trips and clips the cook,
All hands on deck!
C.P.O. and gunner’s mate, they’re neck and neck,
Ev’ry body wants a date,
All hands on deck!

But mister I’ll be the one who will kiss her,
And it won’t be a brotherly peck;
So if you wanna see how she goes for me,
All hands on deck!

She’s a new destroyer type,
All hands on deck!
Ev’ry turret round and ripe,
All hands on deck!

Takes marines and leads them
By their leather neck!
Taught the pilots how to fly,
All hands on deck!
She made a shambles
Out of Annap’lis

And in Brooklyn she broke up the fleet
In Newport News she put on a strapless
And sent the Navy down to defeat!

“I’d like to hit the beach with her,” says the Exec;
Dig that super structure, sir,
All hands on deck!
She could melt the chief of staff down to a speck;
Taught the shore patrol to laugh,
All hands on deck!

But mister I’ll be the one who will kiss her,
And it won’t be a brotherly peck;
So if you wanna see how she goes for me,
All hands on deck!
